In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Phobia, Shmobia.”

‘Fears evolve over time. What is one fear you’ve conquered?’

I only really have one real fear. One thing that causes me to to shriek in fear and run from any room.

They are awful. I hate their legs. I hate the way they move. I hate the way they make their way across your bed, curtains, face, like it’s perfectly normal.

I still haven’t conquered this fear. I’m getting there. I can deal with tiny spiders and I’ve never been afraid of tarantulas. But anything between the two stills makes me shake with fear. Hopefully someone in my uni house will be able to defend me from any spiders that sneak into my room!
